October 1 - Try Before You Buy Saturday - Test drive a Bernina 3 or 5 Series and make a water bottle cozy. No fee, registration suggested.
October 4 - Paula Reid - A national instructor and quilter for Alex Anderson. This all day hands-on machine quilting class for the intermediate quilter.
$75.00 includes workshop and lunch.
October 6 - 10 - Tour De Quilt - Join the fun and camaraderie of the Central Virginia Twelfth Annual Tour. Extended hours for the tour are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday - 9:00am-7:00pm. Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.
October 16 - Quilt Appraisal Workshop and Scheduled Appraisals - Neva Hart, Professional Appraiser, will conduct "All Values are NOT Equal" workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own quilt for discussion on how to determine value in a quilt and how to add value to make today's quilts future heirlooms. There are also several openings available for individual appraisals.
