Welcome to COTTONWOOD -   We hope your summer travels bring you into COTTONWOOD, central Virginia’s premier quilt shop offering fabrics and supplies for quilting, sewing, hand and machine embroidery, needle punch embroidery and rug hooking.  We are Charlottesville’s exclusive and authorized Bernina dealer, offering sales, service and a myriad of classes including machine mastery and new techniques for sewing, quilting, serging and machine embroidery. 

We have lots of new fabrics in the shop – Storybook VI, 54 prints of 30’s reproductions along with coordinating solids from Windham Fabrics; 1800’s Blended Traditions designed by Marsha McCloskey for In the Beginning Fabrics; Farmyard Toile from Benartex, French Farmhouse by Renee Nanneman for Andover Fabrics.  We also have her new book – French Farmhouse.  Flower Fairies and Christmas Fairy along with pretty Fairy Frosts just arrived. Several other collections on the way include Iced Mocha and also Flannel Essentials by The Buggy Barn for Henry Glass Fabrics.

Plans for the Tenth Annual Central Virginia Tour de Quilt are well underway.  Hope you have your calendars marked – October 15, 16, 17 and 18 2009.  Don’t miss out.
