KQC- 0821 Kids Quilt Camp! " "Take Five" Quilt (10:15am to 12:45 pm)



How to thread a machine and wind a bobbin.  Learn basic piecing skills, pattern layout and how to tie a quilt.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Students should be comfortable with their sewing machine and rotary cutting tools.
The techniques of paper piecing will be taught in class, as well as, a variety of foundations and tools.
Requirements: Supplies Required

sewing machine in good working condition
power cord
foot pedal
bobbins
needles
All Purpose Sewing Foot; 1/4" Foot; Walking Foot
Thread to blend fabrics
Basic sewing kit:
pins
seam ripper
thread
snips or small scissors
marking pencil
Fabrics/Supplies for Project:
1/2 yard of 5 coordinating fabrics
Fabric needs to be purchased and dropped off at Cottonwood no later than 7/26/2021 so it can be cut and ready for your first class.
