Designed after the log cabin home of pioneer times, the log cabin is one of the most beloved quilt patterns.
In this class you will create your own log cabin quilt.
Center(often red, representing the hearth of the home) surrounded by light strips on one side (the sunny side of the house) and dark strips of fabric (the shady side of the house). The log cabin quilt can be constructed using traditional fabrics, modern fabrics, or fabric scraps, all styles are visually appealing.
There will be homework before the class.

Instructor Bio: | Robin received her first sewing machine at age 12 and learned from her mother and grandmother. This knowledge came in handy while raising her four children, doing special projects such as making curtains for the house and creating Halloween costumes for her children. When her children left for college she bought her first BERNINA sewing machine from COTTONWOOD and took classes to learn to quilt. She now has four BERNINAS, teaches quilting classes and as been at COTTONWOOD for over 10 years. |
