BERNINA Mastery - Embroidery (10:15am-2:15pm)

Learn the basics of machine embroidery- hooping, stabilizing, monogramming, customizing designs and endless embroidery for the machine you purchased.

You may download and/or print the My BERNINA Embroidery Mastery Workbook or the My bernette Embroidery Workbook to create a technique reference guide.

Space is limited so register early.

Class is for students new to embroidery and/or new to BERNINA Embroidery Machines.

Requirements: BERNINA embroidery machine
power cord
embroidery presser foot
bobbins and accessories
2-3 spools embroidery thread
embroidery bobbin thread
pencil and paper for note taking.
Instructor: Mary Humphrey
Instructor Bio: Shop Owner of COTTONWOOD, Mary began hand embroidery at age 5, and made her first quilt at 12. She comes by it naturally, learning from her mother, Helen, who was an avid sewer, weaver, appliquer and bobbin-lace maker. Mary lives with her husband, Buddy, at Lake Monticello outside Charlottesville.
Class fee is included in the price of a BERNINA Embroidery Machine purchased at COTTONWOOD; use coupon provided at purchase or call the shop for assistance. $75.00 for all others.
