This Jewels of The Sea Pattern was designed by Mary Humphrey for one of her Quilt R & R Sea Cruises.
Rotary Cutting dimensions and templates will be provided. In addition paper piecing patterns are provided

| Skill Details: | You will have your option of piecing techniques or try all 3. Templates and measurements for rotary cutting are provided along with printed sheets for paper piecing. Each technique will be explained and demonstrated. |

| Requirements: | Required supplies: Sewing Machine in good working condition, Power Cord, Foot Pedal All Purpose Sewing Foot 1/4" Patchwork Foot 2 Pre-wound Bobbins Rotary Cutter Mat Ruler Threads to blend with fabrics Basic Sewing Kit: pins, seam ripper, thread snips or small scissors, marking pencil Fabric supplies for project per pattern The quilt as shown uses 1 white background and 14 assorted prints - 6 blues, 2 oranges, 2 greens, 2 pinks and 2 purples. Your quilt could contain as few as 5 colors by combining colors. Refer to the black/white version inside the pattern. Jewels of the Sea pattern |

| Instructor Bio: | Shop Owner Mary began hand embroidery projects at age 5, and made her first quilt at 12. She comes by it naturally, learning from her mother, Helen, who was an avid sewer, weaver, appliquer and bobbin-lace maker. Mary lives with her husband of 39 years, Buddy, at Lake Monticello outside of Charlottesville. |
