Instructor Bio: | I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember, and have been quilting for 21 years. I love quilting, and find that the more challenging the quilt that I'm working on is, the more I enjoy making it. Three years ago I was looking for something that I could make and gift to my family members and a few friends for Christmas, which is how I began my journey into rug making. Since that time I've made many rugs, both as gifts and to sell, and feel that, over that time, I have perfected my process. My husband and I own a small farm in Louisa, where we raise American Guinea Hogs, chickens, dairy goats, and honeybees, and also keep 3 Great Pyrenees to protect them from predation. He works full-time while I manage the farm, and sell rugs and other handmade items through my Etsy shop and Facebook business page. |
