Orientation Session Sunday, July 30 to review project, fabric choices, supply lists and pre-work.
Sessions to complete the quilt top - Sunday, August 13, 27, September 10, October 8 and 22.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Each technique will be taught so that a confident Beginner will be able to complete the quilt top. There will be homework between the sessions to complete the rows. There is lots of cutting and piecing which will develop your skills.
Requirements: Jolly Noel Kit with Pattern OR a Jolly Noel Pattern with fabrics of your choice as per the yardages of the pattern. Rotary Cutter, Mat and Rulers - 6" x 24"; 15" square-up; Sewing Machine in good working condition, power cord, foot pedal, 1/4" piecing or patchwork foot, straight stitch or single hole stitch plate Needles - 80 Universal or 80 Microtex Thread for piecing and 2 wound bobbins to blend yo fabric selection
Instructor: Mary Humphrey
Instructor Bio: Shop Owner, Mary, began hand embroidery projects at age 5, and made her first quilt at 12. She comes by it naturally, learning from her mother, Helen, who was an avid sewer, weaver, appliquer and bobbin-lace maker. Mary lives with her husband of 41 years, Buddy, at Lake Monticello outside of Charlottesville.
