Miyako Serger Bag
You will get to know your serger by using different stitches (3 & 4 thread, overlock, rolled hem, blanket stitch and flatlock) to construct and decorate your hanbag.
Supply list:
Kit including fabric & leather strap to make bag (included in class fee)
Rotary cutter, mat & ruler
Serger in good working condition, power cord, foot pedal, needles (bernette b64, b68, b44, b48 or Bernina L450, L460, L850, L860, L890 (older Bernina sergers are also welcome)
Regular sergingfoot and coverstitch foot if your machine can coverstitch
4 polyester thread cones (or 5 if you want to coverstitch) and tapestry needle
If your machine has coverstitch capabilities, we will also use some of those stitches to decorate the bag.
