Auntie Grace Bag

You will learn how to install zippers, use bias binding to finish raw edges and how to assemble the purse.
Supplies needed:
Rotary cutter & mat
Sewing machine in good working condition including power cord, foot pedal, bobbins & needles
All purpose foot, 1/4" foot and walking foot
Thread to blend with fabrics
Basic sewing kit - pins, seam ripper, thread snips, marking pencil
Fabrics/Supplies for project
Pattern required (can be purchased at COTTONWOOD)
- Pattern: Auntie Grace Bag by Knot + Thread Design
- ByAnnie’s Soft & Stable (or similar brand) – 18/20” x 22/24” piece per person
- 1” Poly strapping: 2 yards per person
- Fusible Interfacing (Pellon SF101 or equivalent): ¼ yard per person
Purse Hardware:
o 1” D-rings, 3 per person
o 1” swivel hook, 3 per person
o 1” strap adjuster, 1 per person
Zippers: (2) 8-12” zippers to match fabric
