About Us
COTTONWOOD began in 1993 vending at quilt, craft and doll house shows. After 18 months with 30 shows, it was time to cut the travel schedule and open a shop. On January 1, 1995, COTTONWOOD opened in the Village Station in Palmyra 18 miles southeast of Charlottesville, VA. In 1999, we became the area's authorized BERNINA dealership and a move into Charlottesville was imminent. We have been located in the Meadowbrook Shopping Centre and have more than quadrupled our size with our expansion late 2019.
